Dairy Goat Sale Policy

We do not breed goats to sell, we breed goats to milk and only keep the kids that will improve our dairy herd going forward. Goats are herd animals, and kids will not be sold singly unless there are already goats on the buyer’s property.

All goats and kids will have up‑to‑date CD&T vaccinations and will be ready to go to their new homes between 8 and 12 weeks of age, depending on their individual development and needs. Bucklings will not be banded until 12 weeks old, so their release date may be closer to the upper end of that range.

Prices vary based on quality, breed, and registration status. Our farm limits its herd to Mini‑Nubian and Nigerian Dwarf goats.

Prices START as follows:

  • Mini Nubian Doelings: $450
  • Mini Nubian Bucklings: $300
  • Mini Nubian Wethers: $200
  • Nigerian Dwarf Doelings: $400
  • Nigerian Dwarf Bucklings: $250
  • Nigerian Dwarf Wethers: $200

What Comes With Your Kid

Every kid leaving Bystander Farm comes with:

  • CD&T vaccination
  • Coccidia prevention (if needed)
  • Hoof trim
  • Banding (bucklings only, at 12 weeks)
  • Registration paperwork or application (ADGA / MDGA as applicable)
  • A small bag of transition feed
  • A printed or emailed care sheet
  • Lifetime support: you can always reach out with questions

Sales Policies

  • Kids must be picked up within 7 days of their ready date unless otherwise arranged.
  • A non‑refundable deposit is required to hold a specific goat.
  • Deposits may be transferred to another goat if needed.
  • Goats will not be sold singly unless the buyer already has goats.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a sale if the home is not suitable.
  • Final payment is due at pickup.
  • We do not ship goats.
  • We do not sell bottle babies unless medically necessary.

If we do not currently have the goat you’re looking for, we maintain close relationships with several trusted local farms and are happy to assist you in finding the right caprine companion through our network.

Nigerian Dwarf Bucklings

BYSTANDER MOCHI

Nigerian Dwarf Buckling, Available Immediately. Mochi is a bold, energetic young buck with excellent width and a thick, plush coat. He carries strong dairy genetics and is ready for a new home.

2026 Bucklings: Available at 12 Weeks

These boys will be ready closer to 12 weeks due to banding schedules. Individual details and exact release dates will be added as they mature.
